Tamarind Candy Dish

This smaller 6.5" wide by 4" tall bowl is tuned from Tamarind which has spalted.  The spalting is a process where the grains of the wood turn dark due to insect damage to the tree.  This bowl was turned to its size and sealed with sanding sealer and wipe-on poly finish with a satin finish.  This bowl can be used for a candy dish and will need occasionale waxing to keep its satan finish clean, but do not clean this bowl in your dishwasher.
