Red Elm Burl Bowl

This locally harvested elm burl has natural edges and is somewhat thick sides.   Twice turned  due to a higher moisture content for a finished bowl this bowl, then dried for a few months in a paper bag with its moist shavings until less than 9% moisture.  Final turned bowl was finished wih a clear poly and waxed slightly to show off its great grain.  Great for a key or coin dish.
